Access Group No worries

Q: What is Access Group's "My Inspiration Contest"?

A: Access Group is running a scholarship contest for law students. The "My Inspiration" scholarship contest will award a $10,000 scholarship to law school. In addition, five additional Honorable Mention scholarships ($1,500 each) will be awarded by a panel of Access Group judges. See "How do I enter?" for entry details.

Q: How do I enter?

A: Law students interested in entering the contest must follow these steps:

• First, create a YouTube account (www.youtube.com), if you don't already have one.

• Then, create a brief video of up to 4 minutes, sharing your inspiration for becoming a lawyer.

• Upload your video to your YouTube profile.

• Fill out an entry form at AccessGroup.Org/MyInspirationContest, making sure to fully review the eligibility criteria. You'll also need to enter the URL of your YouTube video. (Note: only the individual whose name is submitted on the official online entry form will be eligible to win the contest; no joint submissions will be accepted.)

• Don't forget: you have to upload your video and complete the entry form by July 15, 2009!

Q: Who is eligible?

A: This contest is open to legal US residents 18 years of age or older who are law students (enrolled or matriculated as of August 1, 2009) and candidates for law degrees (JD or LLM) at tax-exempt law schools in the United States (includes the 50 states, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico). Tax-exempt law schools are state institutions and institutions that are exempt from tax under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Employees of Access Group or its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, agencies, retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and promotional or other vendor agencies involved in the promotion, and the immediate relatives (spouse, child, sibling, parent) and those residing in the households of all such employees, are not eligible. Prize winners from the 2008 "One Less Worry" contest are not eligible. Please see the Official Rules for a complete list of eligibility requirements. The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

See contest rules and requirements for complete details.

Q: What can be included in my video and what should I avoid?

A: There are a host of video guidelines to follow regarding sounds, images, music and content. Please be sure to read these guidelines in the contest rules because failure to do so could disqualify your video. See "Additional Criteria For Entry" in contest rules.

Q: How are the finalists selected?

A: Access Group judges will select ten finalists from all eligible entries received by the close of the submission period (July 15, 2009 at 11:59 P.M. ET). Videos will be judged in the following areas: humor, creativity, realism, quality and overall appeal. A maximum of 20 points will be awarded in each area, and the ten videos with the highest overall scores will be named as finalists. Here's an idea of what the judges will be looking for:

Creativity: Is the video unique and original? Does the entrant think "outside the box" and find a distinctive/imaginative way to express his/her inspirations?

Humor: Does the video include wit and comedy? And is it produced in a tasteful and appropriate manner?

Realism: Is the video convincing and genuine? Does the content expressed truly apply to law students?

Quality: Is the video cohesive? Is it well planned and polished?

Overall Appeal: Is the video engaging and enjoyable? Is this the kind of video you want to share with others?

Q: How are the prize winners chosen?

A: Voting begins when finalists are announced on August 3, 2009 and will take place on YouTube.com/MyInspirationContest. Students should tell their friends and families, their classmates, co-workers, and anyone else to vote for their video. All votes must be cast by the official contest closing date of August 14, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Only one vote per day may be submitted per IP address.

Q: What if there's a tie?

A: If there is a tie, the voting period will be extended in 24-hour increments until one video receives the greatest number of votes for Grand Prize ($10,000 scholarship).

Q: How are the Grand Prize and Honorable Mention Prize (if any) scholarships awarded?

A: The Grand Prize and Honorable Mention Prize (if any) scholarships will be awarded to the student named on the entry form, and funds will be sent directly to the winner's school and made available for use by that individual student. The exact process may vary by school.

Q: How do I upload my video?

A: Video uploading instructions and requirements are at the discretion of YouTube. For more information regarding making or uploading videos, YouTube account information, or YouTube troubleshooting, visit YouTube's Help Page.
